Winter- Winter trees are dormant, waiting for another season to bring forth buds and leaves. The snow and ice may cover branches, creating a new beauty with the lattice work of cold.

The Tree of Life holds meaning for many cultures. A tree symbolizes the life cycle- birth, growth, life, death, regrowth. The different seasons of a tree show how life can continue through many troubles. As well as the symbols of regrowth, trees provide sustenance to animals and humans alike. These trees are my effort to bring the beauty of the tree to a wearable piece.

The ring is bronze toned with copper wire. Copper will oxidize, leaving the wire with a patina reminiscent of a tree's natural bark.
