Will I be liable to pay duty on my artwork or Product?
In cases where a package has not been sent "Delivery Duty Paid" any charges are liable to be paid by the importer on record, in this case the (customer) Duties taxes due for artworks vary from country to country. For information on charges for artworks in the country in which you are based, please in put the artwork description on the Dutycalculator.com. If you appear to have erroneously been charged full VAT on your purchase, you may be able to dispute this with HMRC. The best course of action in such a case is to contact the artist from whom you purchase the work via the JAO messaging system to clarify that the package was appropriately labeled as an original artwork.

The artwork isn't quite right. Can I Still request a return?
Yes! However, the following must still apply:
  • It is less than 14-Days since you have received the artwork.
  • you have retained all original packaging for the artwork.
  • The artwork has been prepared for return shipment in the original package.
  • when will my artwork or product be delivered?
    All Artworks sold on JAO are dispatched directly from the artist, so delivery times will vary, but please allow 48 Hours to respond.
    JAO uses a tracking method of shipment and provides tracking information via-email JAO invoicing system for off-line purchases. For on-line purchases the tracking number will be sent via PayPal payment system. International on-line purchases please allow 6-10 days arrival based on destination.
