Creating an Identity

The world is a crowded place, which can be both good news and bad. The good news is that there are countless of potential customers who may be willing to purchase your work. As for the bad news? It’s simply getting harder and harder to get in front of those very same people. To overcome this obstacle, you’ll need to find a way to separate yourself from your peers so that you can be readily seen and easily remembered.

The first step to accomplish this is to create an identity for your business, or in other words, a brand. Your brand will be the very essence of what you wish to represent to the world. It’s not just name of your business, the colors and even the logo. It’s also you. It’s who you are, the story behind you and what drives and inspires you. No one gets excited by a faceless person behind the curtains. They’re inspired by real life people who have a story to tell, so don’t be afraid to share it with the world

With that in mind, we've created several different tools here on Articents.com that will allow you to better express yourself online. Some of these tools are pretty standard where you can have your own custom URL and even include a logo or a profile picture of yourself. We didn't stop there though. Instead, we also wanted to give you the ability to tell your story in your own words. To do this, we now give you the option to create custom pages on your store. You can use these pages to describe who you are, what inspires you or even use them to list your store's shipping and return policies. It's all up to you. Lastly, we also developed a set of tools allowing you to adjust the colors and even the wallpaper on your store so that you can truly make it your very own.
